SITREP:
Our forces in Shukurkalay are in dire need of resupply. Without them, local insurgents will gain control over this crucial sector and we will be forced to evacuate from Takistani territory. Your task is to secure the hilltop 2429 to ensure safe passage for the convoy overnight. No civilians are expected to be in the area.

OBJECTIVES:
  • Insert via choppers, then fortify and defend hilltop 2429. Deployable NSV machine gun emplacements are at your disposal to aid you in accomplishing that goal.
  • If you're still capable of conducting engagements, recon and seize at least one nearby settlement, which we suspect to be insurgent staging areas.
INTEL:
  • No air support or resupply will be available until the convoy safely passes by your sector
  • Squad leaders have rocket artillery at their disposal, if deemed necessary.
  • Enemy anti-air defenses are too strong for any air vehicles to operate in the area, with the exception of relatively narrow ravines.
  • Insurgents are very likely in possession of mortars. Expect hostile indirect fire support.
  • Morning patrols have reported hostile sniper fire in the area, resulting in 4 casualties.
  • Opponents are unlikely to have any armored vehicles. They're also poorly organized and lack appropriate equipment, but our intel on that is 4 days old at best. Report to HQ immidiately if you can confirm the presence of better equipped forces in the AO.
  • We've received a batch of NATO equipment from Turkey in exchange for some of our higher-end gear being available to them. While a lot of it isn't available to your unit, we've arranged an assortment of relevant attachments that you can make use of.
