We unleash relentless fury
Take evil hordes by surprise
Strike with power, save no bullets
Freedom is bought for a price
We are few and they are many
Death is the perfect device
To inspire the rebellion
Worthy of sacrifice
Two days after taking the town of Borek, the boogaloo militia receives a tip off from a local that the army is going to send an armoured convoy to retake the lost ground. The convoy will be going from the county capital of Topolin and follow the river around to reach first Sitnick and then Borek. It is a nighttime convoy, intended to arrive at it's objective around 23:00 hours this night.
You have three choices, you can either:
1) Do nothing and allow your gains to be retaken.
2) Dig in to defend
Or...
3) Ambush the convoy somewhere along it's route and destroy it before it's a threat
Notes:
1) Garrison towns, ungarrisoned towns and abandoned towns will be marked on the map. Garrison towns contain sizeable amounts of enemy troops, ungarrisoned towns will not contain enemy squads but will still have roadblocks at every entrance and abandoned towns are completely empty
2) The citizens of Sitnick mostly support your efforts and a few have taken up arms and are now holding down the Roadblocks that the army left behind there.
3) The convoy you are ambushing is going to be an armoured convoy. The civilian that tipped you off said they spotted at least 1 tank, two tracked AFVs and two wheeled AFVs. At least. Prepare for that. That means basically everybody should have a launcher or explosives or both, it's also recommended that you bring the drone operator for that extra advanced warning.
4) This will be a night mission. It will be starting at 20:00 and proceed into the night, that means bring NVGs and lights.
5) Ambushing a convoy isn't quiet. You will attract attention, most likely the garrisons of the towns near you will rush to your location to aid the convoy. You can either engage them, or attempt to slip away under the cover of darkness. Some of the enemy troops will have NVGs, but they are stretched thin fighting insurrections and secessionist movements across the country, and so some of them will not.
6) This is intended to be a DIFFICULT mission. Which means you should expect to die a few times. Additionally, if you lose the BMP this mission, it will be gone forever, which means you should consider taking measures to ensure it's survival, you might even wanna consider leaving it at the factory.
Objectives:
1) Stop the armoured convoy from retaking Sitnick and Borek through any means necessary!
