You awake to the sound of shelling. The battle for the Donbass has been ongoing for well over a month now, and in the distance you can see the town of Lyman that you vacated a few days ago. A vodka bottle smashes, the militia had fun last night... undisciplined c***s.
You're prepared for a large attack today, with your powerful weapons from the West and numbers advantaged buoyed up by psycho militiamen, you're expecting to repulse it. Once that happens, it's time to retake the town and save it's population.
Objectives:
1) Withstand the Russian attack on your fortified defensive line.
2) Retake the Lyman train station.
3) Retake the town of Lyman itself
4) If you actually manage to get this far, we'll see just how far we can push these orcs.
Notes:
1) For this op, you will be playing either as Ukrainian territorial guard or as Ukrainian militia.
2) The territorial guard will play very normally, they have pre-made gear loadouts and will load up that gear with stuff from an arsenal
3) The Militia will spawn with nothing but the clothes on their back and those helmets that Germany donated, they will then have to pick their gear (vests and guns) out of a box that they are provided, guns are first come first serve so if you want the most gucci shit you better either get there first or promise to suck the other guy's dick for his gun.
4) As the war is, this op will be very artillery heavy. You will be shelled quite a lot, so prepare to duck for cover at any time. You do also have your own artillery, but it will be acting passively in the background. You may be able to call in artillery missions from time to time but it will usually act on it's own.
5) The objectives at the moment are quite limited because the city is one we've never actually been in before and appears quite large, but if you do well they can be extended.
