Trouble in Liantha!
Liantha - a small archipelago in the Pacific ocean - has been divided for some time. West Liantha, backed by NATO forces, and East Liantha, backed by the Eastern Special Interest Union (ESIU) have been locking antlers for just over a decade now.
On the island of Liantha Minor, there exists the Lapangan Futsal Autonomous Region. The LFAR is the major population centre on the island, but is not controlled by either of the two nations - it instead exists as defined under the Lianthan Accords as an individual autonomous area with its own council and full autonomy to make its own decisions. The LFAR Council is made up of eight members - four from the West and four from the East. This delicate balance has kept both sides happy and has allowed the LFAR to soar ahead in size and power in the area.
Recently, however, there have been disturbing reports from the NATO standby force on the island; Eastern propaganda and misinformation campaigns have caused massive disturbances in the LFAR, with the population turning to violent rioting. Seeing an opportunity, the Eastern government deployed a large contingent of forces to the area - which is not allowed its own military nor to enable military forces from either government - and has siezed control of the Council building and much of the surrounding area. The Council - both Eastern and Western members - have fled to the West to seek refuge.
This is where you come in. I have assembled the NATO Unified Taskforce: Terrestrial Emergency Response Squad to secure the region and reinstate the democratically elected Council, so they can pass emergency measures to quash the violence and continue on peacefully. Therefore, your orders are to:
1) Advance from Besar Airbase to an enemy controlled FOB.
2) Secure the FOB for friendly resupply and reinforcements should they be needed
3) Move to the LFAR and Secure the Council buildings as well as the surrounding city
4) Allthemeanwhile, escort the councilmembers, when the route is safe, to the Council Building.

- Available weaponry includes the MX platform, M4 platform, L129 DMR and M249 Machinegun for your use, dealer's choice.
