Last night a routine reconnaissance flight was shot down north of Xom Bong. Due to increased movement into the region and intercepted radio chatter we have reason to believe the crew has been captured, pending interrogation.
You have 3 objectives:
  1. Search the nearby POI's for the crew. The crew consists of 2 pilots and an observer.
  2. Find and destroy the wreck by planting a demolition charge on it.
  3. Destroy any AA guns you find.
You will be inserting at LZ Dog, and once you have completed both objectives head to LZ Stone and radio in for pickup. We have a UH-1B on standby to pick you up.
The whole area north of the river has been clear of civilians for the past couple years, so anyone you find there will be enemy.
Normally there would be only lightly armed VC, however we expect better equipped NVA reinforcements and possibly some light armour.
