The Republic of Novodmitrovsk declared independence from Chernarus 3 weeks ago, backed by the Takistani Republic, starting the Chernarussian Civil War.
The war has devolved into a stalemate, with neither side having significant enough strength to break one another. However, the constant fighting has worn down the Novodmitrovsk forces, and we believe them to be weak enough in their western sector for us to force a breakthrough.

You will be moving to capture the town of Novaya Petrovka, their 3rd most populous town and fairly significant command and logistical centre for their military. Capturing their command centre and railway hub is of the upmost importance.
Also in the town is a Chemical Storage Facility. Once their forces view holding the town to be hopeless they will likely try to sabotage the storage containers, rendering the whole area uninhabitable. Do not let this happen.

You can expect to be facing mostly infantry, with some light armour and artillery. Most of the enemy air force has been grounded, and we have 2x Mig-29's available to intercept if need be.
You will have access to a BRDM-2 to support you directly, and can call on artillery support if need be. We also have 2x Su-25's on standby for you.
We believe most civilians to have evacuated the area, however we would prefer to avoid using artillery on civilian targets
