You are a contractor for the Private Military Company Paragon, a Western-Europe and North-American company deployed on the pacific island of Tanoa.
Tanoa is undergoing a period of civil unrest. A despotic regime was just uprooted in the region, and the new democratically elected Government of the Great Tanoan Republic is going through some... growing pains. The Government is too focused on rebuilding infrastructure, improving healthcare and trying and convicting various war criminals to care about smaller quarrels and local instabilities. That's where Paragon comes in.
You've been awarded a contract to keep stability in Tanoa. Your first mission is to locate a Black Market deal and disrupt it, ensuring that weapons do not fall into the hands of a new Nationalist Militia. Use the intelligence you find on site and follow the breadcrumbs to clear out this cancer before it spreads any further.
Your assets include a Jackal and two Humvees for transportation, as well as an AR2 Darter drone for reconnaissance. Further assets may become available for tasking depending on how the mission progresses.
Enemy assets are unknown, but expect some armour stolen from depots during the governmental handover. Bureaucracy's a bitch.
