The situation is dire.

We have been informed by our intelligence that the insurgents are planning to ambush our convoy of utmost importance. We cannot afford to lose it, so we made a plan.
Our decision is to split you into two teams - Ground Team Alpha - is going to provide distraction and liberate insurgent controlled village and town, just to kill two birds with one stone. You are provided with a Badger IFV and a FV510 Warrior, aswell as 3 lightly armored vehicles.
The second team - Special Team Beta, composed of 4 people - is going to gather information on the exact location of ambush.
After gathering intel both teams shall regroup, and together carry out an ambush on an ambush. To be specific, you should flank the insurgents and get rid of them as quickly as possible.

Here's our intel on enemy equipment:

They haven't been in control of the regions for too long, so dont expect heavy fortifications.
What you should expect though, is a few mechanized squads, including tanks, APCs, and weaponized trucks.
You should also expect most main roads to be mined. The ambush location most probably has been mined too.
Expect snipers appearing on roofs of some buildings.

So, to summarize, your objective are:
Team Alpha:

Attempt liberation of Agios Dionysios and Syrta
Liberation is optional, main reason for doing it is to cause a distraction for main enemy forces.
Join together with Team Beta
Take out the ambush, and defuse planted explosives.

Team Beta:

Travel to the area of temporary camp from which the ambush force moved out.
Gather information and transfer it to Team Alpha
See point 4 of Team Alpha.
