Incoming transmission: This is a priority message from Badger command. Following the success of Operation Black Sun, the package has been loaded into the extraction plane and was on its way to a black site for further examination. But as they were passing the Mediterranean Sea a Russian submarine has targeted them with an AA rocket, damaging one of the engines and the plane’s fuel gauge as well as slightly injuring the passengers.
Approximately one hour later they announced that they are losing engine power, then they went off the grid and we lost their radar signature. They are presumed to have crashed into the sea close to the Russian controlled island of Altis. Ever since all attempts to establish communication have been met with failure.
It has been decided to wait for 3 days for any response from survivors and then initiate the invasion of Altis and free it from russian influence
End of transmission:
On the other side of the spectrum, the survivors of the crash have gathered any supplies they could and retreated into the nearby forest to plan on their course of action and treat any wounded.
After scouting the surrounding area they have concluded that there’s a low security FOB that has yet to be finished.
Further observation has concluded that the soldiers guarding it are Russians, and they seem to be celebrating something, thus many of them being observed to be drunk and ill fit for combat.
After setting up a small temporary camp and going through their provisions they realise that they have no means of making contact with command, no long range radios, not even short range ones! They did manage to figure out where they are with the use of maps. Bad news is they’ve only got light weaponry and no anti vehicle. Maybe there’s still some equipment that can be salvaged at the wreck.
The survivors come to an agreement that capturing the base is the only way they can survive and have chances to make contact with command and have a chance to escape. They conclude that taking the officer out will eliminate the threat of the base raising alarms, the rest is just a matter of Search and Destroy.
Objectives:
Everyone starts practically naked so there will be more time needed before starting the mission proper
The enemies at the base are drunk and not prepared for combat, but once the shooting starts the adrenaline will slowly shake the effects of the alcohol (their skill will slowly increase up to 30-40%)
The wreck may or may not have a enemy presence. Proceed with caution!
You will start naked (some literally naked) and you don’t have radios yet but you will get some and more items as you do objectives
//The first part (the transmission) is to explain why the plane crashed. Depending on what happens during the mission it could play a larger part further on or not

Objectives:
- Capture the nearby Russian base
- If possible, eliminate the officer of the base before he can activate the alarm
- Attempt to establish contact with command and await further orders
- The wreck may still hold some salvageable supplies, it's in our best interest to go there and check it out before heading out.
