Event Countdown
Briefing-
Operation: Hallowed skies
Date:4/9/23
Operation start: 1915
Units: Polar Saber
3rd Research Group/ Oscar
SRCP-16 (Special research close protection unit)/ Evicta
The group of units will be collectively be called Leopon, and overall command is headed by the overseer of the 57th GADA research Group Code name Olom
Leopen's taskings are as follows-
1-Land at LZ-Granit
2- investigate in order all marked areas with question mark
3- proceed to last marker NW of tandag
2* These areas were key points for the 45th, and since we have no information due to them going dark we will have to start from scratch.
3* a lone radio signal was picked up earlier this morning, we’ve patched this on to you pre-planned OP just to check it out, if recovered files are correct that used to be one of the 45ths established FRPs
Lore you can skip this:
On the 25th of august 0630 the island of sahrani was on mass alert, all active radio channels that left its borders repeated the same message “sahrani has fallen”
With no further context, or replies back to a local UN fleet that first picked up the transmission.
That radio message continued to play until the next day at 1434, when all broadcast stopped abruptly.
On the 27th the UN held a deliberation on the subject of sending a UN task force to sahrani.
This only took half a day. The meeting ended with the majority of nations unwilling to send any force to the island. (with a little help from us)
On the 28th we at the GADA (Global Anomaly Defence Agency) prepared our research and expeditionary groups for the investigation of what we are now designating.
The Sahrani Incident
By the 30th we had the 45th Research group on the ground with 6 active Saber's doing operations.
However by the 2nd of September the 45th went dark, with no response from them or their EDR (emergency disaster radio) which sends a distress signal whenever the timer expires with no one to reset it.
You are all part of the 75th GADA RG and are tasked in continuing the duties left by the 45th.
